The Women of May Tarot (also known as Tarocchi Donne di Maggio) was designed by Bianca Maria Rizzoli to commemorate the National Festival of Women held in Bologna, Italy in May of 1982. The artwork on the cards is simply crisp, clean and stunningly beautiful. The minors are fully illustrated differently for each suit, but remain the same throughout a given suit, with the appropriate number of symbols included. There are 78 cards plus two front cards and two small booklets written in Italian, all encased in their original sturdy plastic swing lid box which is labelled bearing one of the images on a card inside. Limited edition of 1,500 copies.
